This VoIP phone is not reliable journey. Sometimes they work well, sometimes the software will crash. The sound is also poor.
I have four configurations: a headset microphone, a radio installation (mixer input / output connected to the computer), a Microsoft standard camera phone Philips trip.
All work perfectly except Philips phone, which can block to stop the transmission / reception of sound, or simply see the crash of the software. The response time of the phone is slow (eg, pulling on the menu). Should I use the microphone / headset for now.

Does what it promises, but that’s it…
If you get this phone, you’re not buying a fancy phone, but you are going to get a phone that works for cheap.

For years I was with Skype to offer mobile VTP1000 www. pcphoneline. But it needed another phone usb fast, like a friend is going to Mexico next week and then I found Phillips Travel Phone. I give it 4 stars. The sound quality is good, but the volume is not as high as my other Skype phones. This has caused it is not necessary to repeat all the discussions, but irritates me. Another thing that worries me in this phone is not Phillips signal line so that, unlike my other phones from Skype. I used for the dial tone. The last thing is that when I make many calls in a row, but different countries, I have to manually restart Skype on my laptop for the new country. My other phones do it automatically. For example, if I make a call to England, then hang up and call Mexico (country code 52), my other phones mean that 52 call is in progress in Mexico. No further action is required on my part. But with this phone I need to get Phillips in the computer and restore the country from England to Mexico – and other numbers from 52 is not recognized by the phone. Not a big disadvantage, however, a drawback. Has 4 stars instead of 3, because the cost of telephone Phillips only half of what my other phones cost. All in all this phone Phillips is a good value for $ 30 or less.

    Still working on the problem
Still working on the problem. The phone will work with Skype as far as I can hear and speak with it, but the rest of the phone does not work.

    Works as described.
First of all you MUST download the latest drivers from the Philips website. After you installed it – it works like a charm.
    Small, lightweight, nice design.

There was only during the day. Purchased to replace an IPEVO Free-1. Use it for work, international trade ocnsultant. Skype is my office phone rings, where I am. Philips uses the double line of VoIP phones in the house for a period of six months (love, work very well). Now pay $ 12 a month to keep the home number from Verizon (which shall not give my mobile number to people). So far, this Philips product, which matches the quality of others I have. Indeed, from Philips, this is the "new" version of their USB phones (there are versions from Amazon as well).

    Great Buy
It works great. No more problems to listen to your conversation and the best part you don’t need to scream to the other party to be heard by you. I love it!
