It works and it was certainly easy to configure, but my main problem was that the voice that comes out is very metallic and it was difficult to get enough to hear properly through any background noise (including a lot of typing). So unless you want to sit in silence during use, I would not recommend it.
If you need a hands-free Skype basic and inexpensive, this will do. For a discussion of quality of a headset or a Skype phone is better.
The device works. We must speak the box (not pacing the room while speaking) for the microphone to record your voice. Although this is common to almost all low-end microphones. I like it.
