Charges my G1 up nicely on AC power; even seems a bit faster than the OEM wall wart that came with the phone. The bare battery charging slot is great for my spare battery and fulfills the main reason for the purchase; no more having to swap out batteries on the phone just to charge them. The one key negative is in my phone’s fitment onto the charger; slotting the USB port onto the mini terminal requires a firm hand, but the port does slide on without too much fuss and the charger dock goes on to do what it was meant to do. The other gripe is the manner in which the LED indicators work, particularly the garish one for the spare battery charge slot which is on waaaayyy too much of the time, even when there’s no battery to charge. But all in all this dock is good value for the money at the Andy Jackson price that I paid for it.
