Erstens has the answer unrelated to the question that was asked. Secondly can data you plan the phone in a CDMA network while features are the deployment which have the account. Not appear EX, would see 1 X instead of the usual 1XEV only on one CDMA networks like Verizon. I should coz know I am a tech solutions expert.
But what is even more important to answer the question. What the difference between a BB device and the Internet on a cell. Big difference. Mobile phone provider provide limited access to browser capabilities because most mobile data plans are really cheap and are endless.
On a mobile phone you can access mainly the links, the mobile phone provider to your WAP portal. Yes would contain the basic functionality such as checking mail (Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail) and of course Facebook.
But 90 % of the time when you try to browse to it, a normal website wouldn’t work. If it is awesome! If it does not then the provider does not support it.
The is BlackBerry Internet of a true Internet on your phone. Only through the Web site data devices, there is limited inability on one properly. 90 % Would however properly of the Wesbites.
I hope that kinda you helped out.
    Thank you

BlackBerry devices can make calls and receive text messages even if a data plan is not active. Verizon is an air carrier which wish to become requires that you add the BlackBerry data plan if you are using a BlackBerry device in your network. Remove the data plan is not an option as it is with other carriers.
